Javion Roman, now 19 but he was 17 at the time of the shooting, of York, was convicted for the murder of Malaki Beady, 17, of York, on Wednesday, Oct. 23. Child Arrested On His Way To School With Gun In PA, Police Say A 14-year-old boy was arrested on his way to school with a gun, according to police. The unnamed William Penn high school student was spotted hiding a firearm in the 200 block of West Princess Street before going to school on Wednesday, Mar. 30, York City police state in a release. He was seen by York City detectives, who were in the area as part of increased surveillance details around school campuses following a spike in violence in the city.
