A fire broke out in the electrical room of the loading dock at Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland on Thursday night, Dec. 26, prompting a massive emergency response and the evacuation of multiple hospital units, according to authorities. Emergency crews were dispatched shortly after 8:40 p.m. when smoke was detected in the loading dock along Upland Avenue. A 4-year-old girl and her mom are in the hospital with serious injuries after a triple fatal crash on Interstate 81 killed the family's matriarch, a family friend told Daily Voice on Tuesday, July 16. The Pennsylvania Department of Health is reporting staggering data on the state of coronavirus case.4,391 additional positive COVID-19 cases were reported in 24 hours, as of Wednesday, Sept. 8 at 12 a.m. This brings the statewide total to 1,329,111.
