Homes were being evacuated in Lycoming as the National Weather Service issued flash flood warnings. The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning at 12:34 p.m. on Friday in effect until 2:30 p.m. for Lycoming County. A driver was rescued from flash flooding in Lancaster County on Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 6, fire officials explained. The flood water came from Pequea Creek quickly trapping one vehicle This on Route 324 just north of Silver Mine Road in Pequea Township, Rawlinsville Volunteer Fire Company officials detailed. Cause Of Death Revealed For Ephrata Man 'Trapped' By Conestoga River: Coroner
A second Ephrata man has ended up dead in an area waterway in under a week. Allen "Ray" Nolt, was driving along Cabin Drive in West Earl Township when his vehicle became "trapped in the high waters" of the Conestoga River on Monday morning, Chief Deputy Coroner Eric Bieber explained.
