Violence Erupts During NFC Championship Celebrations In Philadelphia, Police Say Philadelphia police responded to multiple violent incidents during the NFC Championship celebrations on Sunday, Jan. 26, including assaults on officers, shootings, and a stabbing, authorities said. Celebratory chaos led to 31 citations for disorderly conduct or failure to disperse—30 adults and one juvenile, the Philadelphia Police Department announced.
