One man has been charged and another is in a hospital following a fight that ended with scissors been plugged into one of the men's neck, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Wednesday. Just before PSP York Troopers were called to "an assault" in the 300 block of Channell Road, Fawn Township, 23-year-old Gavin Bossom of New Park, PA "engaged into a verbal and physical altercation" with a 55-year-old man, as stated in the release. A beloved "Pop pop" has been identified as a York County man who died from injuries sustained when he slammed into a manure spreader, Pennsylvania State Police told Daily Voice on Thursday, Dec. 14. Lester Carl Stewart, 68, of Fawn Township, was pronounced dead at WellSpan York Hospital at 11:55 p.m. on Dec. 2, as detailed in Coroner Pam Gay's release. Sealed Deal Ends Suit Over Suicide Of Accused Double Murderer In York County Prison
A lawsuit over an accused double murderer who hanged herself while imprisoned ended recently with a settlement. At the end of Feb. a deal between the York County Prison and the executor of the estate of Veronique Henry was settled and sealed by the order of U.S. Middle District Magistrate Judge Martin C. Carlson.
