Double Allentown Murder Suspect Surrenders: Police Gabriel Cartagena, the 44-year-old man wanted in connection with a double homicide last month in Allentown, has surrendered, police announced. Cartagena turned himself in on Thursday, Jan. 4, after warrants for his arrest on two counts of criminal homicide, attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and various weapons offenses were issued, Allentown Police Chief Charles Roca said. 16-Year-Old Dead In Lehigh County Crash: Coroner A 16-year-old boy was killed in a crash near a Lehigh County high school on Tuesday, Oct. 31, officials said. The boy was traveling in a vehicle the two-car crash at  North Street and Cedar Crest Boulevard near the Emmaus High Schoo, just before 3 p.m., Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene and an autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 1.
