Police ID Man Who Killed Two People In Central PA
Police have identified the man they believe killed two people in central Pennsylvania last month. Shawn Hairston, 35, and Ana Scott, 42, were shot dead in a home on the first block of 16th Street in Harrisburg on Mar. 13, according to city police. Kurt Darnell Tasker Jr., 32, is believed to be their killer, police say. He is wanted for two counts of homicide and various firearms charges, court records show. Authorities in Central Pennsylvania are searching for the gunman who shot a victim inside of a cafe on Sunday, March 6. A woman was found dead Tuesday in Harrisburg, authorities said. Officers were called around 8:30 p.m. to South 10th and Mulberry Streets on a report of a dead woman, Harrisburg police said in a Wednesday release. A $1,000 reward is being offered by York Southern Regional police for help finding a local arsonist. Police have been investigating a series of arson in New Freedom Borough since the first arson event occurred in the Borough Nov. 2019.
