Gunpoint ATM Robbery In Hanover, Among Two Robberies In Central PA: Police Two separate robberies at ATMs were announced by police on Tuesday, May 7.  The first robbery happened in York and the second occurred in Lancaster, it remains unclear if these incidents, which happened 3 days apart, are connected in any way.  The York Robbery began when a man offered another man a ride home in the area of the 100 block of Carlisle Street, Hanover Borough between 1 and 4 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, according to a release by area police.  Once the man entered the vehicle the man who offered him a ride "brandished a handgun," the police said. Teenager Struck By MD Driver MedEvac'd From Crash In PA: Police An 18-year-old man was struck by a car while crossing a street in Hanover, on Saturday, Oct. 22, authorities say. The victim was hit while "wearing dark clothing" and "not using a marked crosswalk," at 9:11 p.m. in the 1000 block of Carlisle Street, according to Hanover police. He was flown to York Hospital with serious injuries, as detailed in the release.  The teen's identity was not released.
