Two New York men are facing charges after Lower Paxton Township police discovered a stolen BMW during a traffic stop, authorities announced Monday, Dec. 2.
Abdulmalek Al Maliki, 20, of Richmond Hill, New York, and Awad Almulaiki, 27, of Whitestone, New York, were charged with Felony Receiving Stolen Property, Felony Disposition of Vehicle With Altered VIN, Misdemeanor Possession/Sale/Display/Use of Altered Commonwealth Documents, and related traffic offenses, police said.

A man has been arrested for stealing and crashing a car on New Year's Day in Central Pennsylvania, according to a release by police.
West Shore Regional police were called to a vehicle theft in the 900 block of North Front Street in Wormleysburg on Sat., Jan. 1, at 12 p.m., according to the release.
Through an investigation, police learned that Vaughn Marshall Crane, 28, "stole the victim's vehicle, was involved in a motor vehicle crash, and then abandoned the vehicle," as stated by police.

Two people have been charged in the shooting death of a 14-year-old boy at a New Jersey gas station over the weekend.
Tamir Phillips, 22, of Bensalem, PA, and Chelsea Holman, 29, of Willingboro, NJ, were arrested in the death of Jesse Everett on Aug. 21, the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office announced Tuesday.
