Baby Beater Burned To Death By Boiling Water Down Back At PA Prison (Updated) A Delaware County dad serving time at a Montgomery County prison for abusing his infant daughter died after being scalded with boiling water, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office in a release. Brandon Grant, 39, died on Sunday, Jan. 14 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest from pulmonary thromboemboli due to deep vein thrombosis and complications from burns to his back, according to officials. The death was ruled accidental following an autopsy on Tuesday, Jan. 16, said Coroner Daniel Buglio. Grant was serving a sentence at SCI Phoenix in Collegeville, the coroner said.  Prison …

Meth Chef Hides Under Boat As Explosion Chemically Burns Fire Fighter In Lebanon: Police A Lebanon City accused meth cooker hid under a boat as his apartment exploded just after 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 4, city police said in a statement sent to Daily Voice on Thursday, Sept. 8.  Brian Scott Gingrich, 57, of 207 East Cumberland Street fled from his home as "components...to manufacture the drug (methamphetamine) within the apartment" exploded, city police say.  He "was not on scene at (the) arrival of the fire department," police state in the release.  A fireman was chemically burned, but it was reportedly minor and he was not hospitalized.  …
