Witnesses Sought After Serious I-81 Crash At Ramp In Carlisle (Update) Police activity shuttered a ramp along Interstate 81 in Central Pennsylvania on Saturday night and now officers are searching for witnesses.   The ramp closure was first announced by Carlisle Police at 5:58 p.m. on Dec. 30, but on Wednesday, Jan. 3, the police said the crash really happened around 4:45 p.m. A two-vehicle caused the initial closure at Walnut Bottom Road and I-81 Exit 45:College Street off-ramp in Carlisle Borough, according to Carlisle PD.
