The 51-year-old man was hit at 191 South Water Street near West Church Street, Spring Grove Borough at 2:21 p.m., according to the York County coroner’s office. The area has a crosswalk, as seen on Google Maps Street View.
A coroner was called to the scene at 2:53 p.m. Deputy Coroner Onalee Gilbert responded to the scene to investigate and certify the death. The man was pronounced dead at 4:25 p.m.
The cause and manner of death are pending investigation, the coroner’s office said.
York County Regional Police is the investing agency.
