Woman Killed In Violent Crash: PA State Police
A Montgomery County woman was killed when she pulled into the path of an oncoming pickup truck at a Worcester Township intersection, Pennsylvania State Police said. Ilene Zeff, 65, of Ambler, was stopped at a posted stop sign on Woodlyn Avenue at Valley Forge Road when she suddenly entered the northbound lane around 12:05 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, according to troopers. School Bus Struck In Central PA Hit-Run
A pick-up truck and its driver are being sought by Newville police following a hit-and-run with a school bus, according to a release on Thursday, Sept. 26. The crash happened in Newville at 3:02 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, the police explained. There is no word about any injuries, the extent of damage to the bus, or if children were onboard at the time of the crash. A 24-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver overnight in Philadelphia, authorities said. Tahtiana Diggs from the 5000 block of F Street, was struck by a gray Kia traveling on Front Street at about 3:40 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, Philadelphia police said. The Kia left the scene but later showed up at police headquarters and is cooperating with police, they said. Thieves Snag $35K Cash From South Philadelphia Driver: Police
A man was robbed of $35,000 early Thursday morning, June 13, city police say. The victim, a store owner, was driving near Oregon Avenue and 19th Street when a blue Chevrolet pickup truck "tapped the rear of his car," authorities said. He got out of his vehicle and three men emerged from the Chevy. One of them placed the victim in a headlock while another went into his car and stole the bag containing the cash, according to investigators.
