Tractor-Trailer Fire Shutters Part Of PA Turnpike: PennDOT
A tractor-trailer caught on fire along the Pennsylvania Turnpike prompting a detour to be put in place on Tuesday, Oct. 22, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The fire broke out in Upper Allen Township near mile marker 234.7 around 2:09 p.m., according to PennDOT's 511PA. The turnpike is closed at the Gettysburg interchange. Road Reopens After Crash In Elizabethtown: Police (

A detour was put in place in Elizabethtown on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 4, area police announced. Travelers were asked to avoid the area of South Market Street between Plum Street and College Avenue will be closed due to a traffic crash, the Elizabethtown Borough Police said in a release at 2:16 p.m. "Traffic is being detoured and motorists should expect delays," police said. Detour Ahead: Overnight Road Work Scheduled To Begin In Montgomery County
PennDOT crews will be repaving Pine Road in Lower Moreland Township beginning Friday, May 31, officials say. Work will be ongoing from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Friday through Monday, June 10. Pine Road will be closed and detoured between Philmont Avenue and Brae Bourn Road with drivers rerouted to Byberry Road and Philmont Avenue. Crews will accommodate access for residents living within the detour zone and emergency vehicles, township police noted.
