A child riding a scooter was hit by a vehicle in Lancaster county on Thursday, Feb. 22, emergency dispatchers said. The child was struck the intersection of Glenola Drive and East Main Street/Route 23 in Upper Leacock Township at 6:36 a.m., according to Lancaster County Wide Communications. They were transported to a hospital for treatment, but their condition has not been released. Their age remains unknown at this time. A young child was hit by a truck in Lancaster County on Tuesday morning, Feb. 11, leaving them hospitalized as authorities investigate, police said. The crash happened at 7:36 a.m. on East Farmersville Road in the Farmersville section of West Earl Township, according to the West Earl Township Police Department. Two children are in the hospital after being struck by a car, the Pottstown Chief of Police Mick Markovich told Daily Voice on Friday, Oct. 11. The collision happened near the corner of Beech and North Adams streets in Pottstown around 5:54 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, according to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety. Patrol Car Strikes 5-Year-Old Girl, Philadelphia Police Say
A child was hospitalized after being struck by a police car in Southwest Philadelphia on Tuesday night, June 4, authorities say. A patrol officer hit a 5-year-old girl on the 1600 block of South Ithan Street just before 7:30 p.m., PPD said. She was taken to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and is reportedly in stable condition. No one else was injured and the crash is under investigation, police said.
