Confidence is growing that a significant winter storm could blanket much of the Northeast with the most snowfall of the winter season. It's expected to hit the East Coast late Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 19, moving from south to north before winding down around midday on Thursday, Feb. 20, according to the National Weather Service.
