Barricaded Gunman Taken Into Custody After Standoff In Williamsport: Police A Pennsylvania constable’s attempt to serve eviction papers to a 64-year-old man in Williamsport escalated into a standoff with police on Monday, Dec. 30, police said. Kenneth Austin, a resident of an apartment building at 798 W. Edwin St., allegedly pointed a handgun at the constable before barricading himself inside the unit around 8:03 a.m., according to the Williamsport Police Department.
