Dow Chemical Building Catches Fire In Bristol
Crews responded to a blaze at the Dow Research & Development facility in Bristol on Friday morning, July 26, according to a statement from the company. The fire broke out at the 310 George Patterson Boulevard site around 10:30 a.m., a Dow spokesperson said. Onsite emergency management personnel and firefighters responded and brought the flames under control by 1:20 p.m., according to the company. Crews Battle Early Morning Barn Fire In Berks County
A barn in Bally Borough caught fire around 2 a.m. Monday, July 15, according to the Eastern Berks Fire Department. The fire at the barn, located off South 7th Street, reached two alarms, authorities said. The barn contained hay and equipment but all the dairy cows on the property were in another structure and were not harmed, the department said. Eastern Berks Fire Dept. A massive fire at a Rhawnhurst apartment complex injured multiple residents and left dozens without a place to stay, according to city officials and relief workers. The blaze broke out around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday night, July 11, authorities said. Police and firefighters responded to the scene at 7400 E. Crews are at the scene of a reported gas leak in Doylestown, borough police said Wednesday, July 10. The leak happened in the Doylestown Hunt Estates housing development just before noon, according to authorities. Steeplechase Drive is closed from South Main Street to Birdsong Way while police and firefighters investigate, they added. Bethlehem city officials responded to a train derailment under the Hill to Hill Bridge on Friday afternoon, July 5, authorities said in a release. Four to five cars from the 125-car train derailed around 2:40 p.m., said the Fire Department in a release. 84-Year-Old Killed In Afternoon House Fire: Philadelphia Police
A Philadelphia man was killed when a house caught fire on Wednesday afternoon, July 3, city authorities said in a release. Firefighters were called to the 2300 block of East Lehigh Avenue at 1:35 p.m., the police department said. Citizen.App The 84-year-old victim was found unresponsive on the first floor. PFD medics pronounced him dead minutes later, according to the release. His name was not reported. Units were still on the scene as of 3 p.m.
