A 38-year-old dad has been identified as the victim of a shooting that prompted a large police presence in Harrisburg on Friday evening, Sept. 13. Thomas "Buddah Buddah" Davenport III has been named as the man shot dead in the 60 block of North 14th Street around 5:50 p.m., Dauphin County District Attorney Fran Chardo told Daily Voice and his family announced on social media over the weekend. A child is dead and five other people — including four children — were hurt in a fire in Lebanon City on Friday morning Sept. 13, officials explained. A child under the age of five died at the scene of the fire in the 1300 block of Brandywine Street, officials said. Four other children were injured and an elderly woman was medically evacuated by helicopter from the scene to Hershey Medical Center. Three shots were fired during an armed robbery and the police are searching for the suspect, as announced in a release at 6:33 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. The robbery happened at the Highland Mart Fuel Market in Highspire at 9:46 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11. : Man Police Cannot ID Shot Dead In York
A man was found shot dead in York City and police had yet to be able to identified him at the time of the police release at 8:20 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12. Officers were called to a report of a man shot dead with multiple gunshot wounds in the the 800 block of West College Avenue around 4:52 p.m., as detailed in the release.
