New details have emerged in court documents obtained by Daily Voice on Friday, Dec. 13, revealing that a 12-year-old boy was shot in the head after a Chambersburg man allegedly brought a stolen gun to a home and left it accessible to children.
Anthony McCune, 23, is accused of bringing a stolen firearm to a residence on the 200 block of Birch Street, where four juveniles handled the weapon before it discharged, striking a 12-year-old boy in the head, Chambersburg Police detailed in an affidavit of probable cause.

Hagerstown Man Threatens To Kill Chambersburg Dinner Date: PA State Police
A Hagerstown man is accused of threatening to shoot and kill a Chambersburg woman after they had dinner together, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The release, obtained by Daily Voice on Wednesday, Dec. 4, states that Bell Njiomegni, 30, sent numerous threatening text messages to the 27-year-old woman late Sunday, Oct. 28, 2024.
Troopers responded to the victim’s home on Heintzelman Avenue in Hamilton Township, where they reviewed the texts, which allegedly confirmed Njiomegni's threats.
Njiomegni now faces charges of terroristic threats and related offenses, police said.

Kimberlee Mae Parker, 29, was involved in a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday, Aug. 27, at approximately 3:36 p.m., in the 100 block of South Second Street in Chambersburg, according to the release.

Officers first responded to reports of gunshots on the 300 block of Black Avenue at 1:23 a.m., where they found spent shell casings, according to the Chambersburg Police Department. Randy Nolan, of no fixed address, was taken into custody after officers were called to the 900 block of Wayne Avenue for a criminal trespass complaint on Monday, Nov. 11, according to Chambersburg police.
