Man Shot Dead By Security After Being Kicked Out Of Philly Bar, Returning With Gun: Police
A man was thrown out of a Philadelphia sports bar, came back armed, and was shot dead by security, police announced on Sunday, March 2. Officers from the 25th District responded to a “person with a gun” call outside a bar on the 3400 block of North 2nd Street at 2:40 a.m., authorities said. Police arrived to find a Hispanic man lying in the street with a gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:59 a.m., officials said. Man Dies After Crashing His Motor Scooter Into PA School Bus: Police
A 41-year-old man is dead after his motor scooter struck a school bus in Philadelphia at 1:29 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, police said. The motor scooter was northbound on the sidewalk of North 2nd Street near Nedro Avenue when it struck a traffic control device, then a Dodge Journey that was parked along the street, and finally a school bus, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. The bus was stopped at the traffic light facing east on Nedro Avenue, police said.
