Crews Respond To Back-To-Back Fires In Bethlehem City fire crews were at the scene of two blazes in Bethlehem on Tuesday, July 9, officials said.  The first fire broke out on East Broad Street and reached two alarms before being brought under control, firefighters wrote in a statement Wednesday. The second blaze was on the 1800 block of Norwood Street. Gas Leak Under Investigation In Doylestown: Officials (Updated) Crews are at the scene of a reported gas leak in Doylestown, borough police said Wednesday, July 10.  The leak happened in the Doylestown Hunt Estates housing development just before noon, according to authorities.  Steeplechase Drive is closed from South Main Street to Birdsong Way while police and firefighters investigate, they added.  UPDATE: PECO crews are on the scene repairing the issue and Steeplechase Drive is back open for through traffic, police said Wednesday afternoon.

Norfolk Southern Train Derails In Bethlehem Bethlehem city officials responded to a train derailment under the Hill to Hill Bridge on Friday afternoon, July 5, authorities said in a release.  Four to five cars from the 125-car train derailed around 2:40 p.m., said the Fire Department in a release. Allentown Shooting Sends 'Juvenile' To Hospital, Police Say A juvenile was shot and injured in Allentown on Thursday afternoon, June 13, city police say.  Shots rang out near North Nagle and West Allen streets around 3:30 p.m. Authorities arrived at the scene to find the victim with a single gunshot wound, according to APD.  First responders rendered aid at the scene and took the victim to an area hospital, police said. 'Explosion' Injures 3 Workers At Plant In Waynesboro: Authorities (Update) Multiple people were injured in an explosion-like event at a manufacturing plant in South Central Pennsylvania. Emergency crews were called to the "fire department incident" at Johnson Controls located at 100 Cumberland Valley Avenue in Waynesboro at 7:23 a.m., according to emergency dispatchers in Franklin County. "An air chamber rupture," was also reported to the police. They added that the incident is contained to the facility.
