Jerry Hoffman, 58, a Caucasian male who resided at the Penn Werner Hotel, was pronounced dead, according to the Berks County Coroner's Office. The coroner's office confirmed on Tuesday, Dec. 11, just before noon: "THANK YOU FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE. WE HAVE LOCATED NEXT OF KIN." No further details were immediately available.
