The body of an unidentified man was found burning in a driveway along a Philadelphia street on Tuesday, Nov. 19, according to police. Officers and Philadelphia Fire Department crews responded to the report of a fire in a driveway in the 8000 block of Leonard Street at 3:08 a.m., the Philadelphia Police Department said in a news release. The next of kin for man who recently died is being searched for by the York County Coroner's Office according to a release on Friday, Nov. 8. Kurt Duerod, a man in his 70s, who was most recently residing in the Yoe area, passed away a few weeks ago, according to the coroner. : Philly Motorcyclist Killed In 3-Vehicle Collision, Police Say
A 34-year-old motorcyclist was killed Tuesday, Sept. 10 in a three-vehicle collision in Philadelphia, authorities said. The fatal crash occurred at approximately 3 p.m. on Woodhaven Road (Route 63) near Thornton Road, Philadelphia police said. The male rider, who was not identified, was traveling eastbound, and collided with both a vehicle and a box truck, also traveling eastbound, police said. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead by Medic 20 at 3:19 p.m., they said. Woodhaven Road was closed in both directions during an investigation.

An 81-year-old man found dead at an elementary school in Lackawanna County has been identified, authorities said on Friday, Sept. 6. The body of Gary Porter, 81, of Dunmore, was discovered on Aug. 27 at Dunmore Elementary Center at 300 W. Warren St. in Dunmore, Lackawanna County Coroner Timothy Rowland told Daily Voice. Head-On Crash Kills Two Drivers In North Philadelphia: Police
Two men have died after a car crash in Philadelphia early Tuesday morning, June 25, city police say. Authorities said it happened around 1:40 a.m. A southbound sedan on North Broad Street collided head-on with a northbound Toyota Rav 4 near West Hunting Park Avenue, according to PPD.
