The community is rallying to support the family of a 22-year-old man from Brecknock Township killed when his car fell off a jack, crushing him, according to a GoFundMe organized by his Uncle, Zachary Drenning of Mohnton, on Sunday, Sept. 22. Ethan Ayscue died "in an accident while working on his car, the jack fell and he was crushed under the vehicle outside his home," Drenning wrote on the GoFundMe. A 30-year-old Philadelphia man who was barred from carrying weapons was arrested with one in Chester County after being pulled over with an expired registration, authorities said. A car plowed into a home in Etters early Thursday morning, Sept. 12, fire officials announced. Firefighters were called to car into a home in the 2300 block of Old Trail Road at 12:36 a.m., according to the Newberry Township Fire Department and York County Department of Emergency Services. The front end of the sedan was inside the home when firefighters arrived, as seen in photos they shared. No injuries were reported. The estimated cost of the damage was unavailable.

Mom Of 4 Killed In Schuylkill County Crash: Lehigh County Coroner
A 37-year-old mother of four was killed in a crash after striking several parked cars on Monday, Sept. 9 in Schuylkill County, authorities announced the following morning. Lisa Marie Dimitri, of Pottsville, was pronounced dead in the Emergency Department at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest at 10:20 a.m., according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio. A horse was struck dead by a minivan in Salisbury Township on Thursday, Sep. 5, Pennsylvania State Police announced the following day. The 2011 Dodge Caravan driven by 20-year-old Leon Lapp of Atglen struck a horse standing on Churchtown Road just south of Main Street at 6:01 a.m., PSP Lancaster Trooper Joshua Croyle wrote in the release. A pedestrian was hospitalized with multiple injuries after a crash in Bucks County, authorities said. Perkasie Borough Police are investigating the crash that occurred at about 7:15 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5 at Callowhill Road and Dorchester Lane. A 70-year-old pedestrian was crossing in the crosswalk at Callowhill Road and was struck by a Volkswagen Jetta traveling eastbound on Callowhill Road, police said. Firefighters Rescue Child In Car At Parking Lot Outside East Drumore Giant
Quarryville firefighters rescued a child locked in a car Thursday, Aug. 15. The company received the call to the child locked in a vehicle at 4:05 p.m. They were found locked in the SUV pictured in the parking lot outside of the Giant grocery store in East Drumore Township. A 41-year-old passenger was killed in a Philadelphia crash in which the driver made an illegal turn, authorities said. At 3:22 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 15, the fatal crash occurred at Kelly Drive and Reservoir Drive, near Parkland in the 22nd District, according to Philadelphia police.
