A fatal crash closed Route 22 West in Susquehanna Township late Sunday night, Sept. 15, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler told Daily Voice. The crash was first reported on Rt 22 West at Exit: PA 39 - Linglestown/Rockville at 11:38 p.m., according to Schreffler and 511PA. A car crashed into a utility pole and a stone wall in Susquehanna Township on Thursday afternoon, Aug. 29, Progress Fire 32 announced. The Susquehanna Township Police and multiple fire departments were called to the crash in the area of Walnut Street and Oak Street around 4:30 p.m., according to a release by the Susquehanna Township Police. The National Weather Service at State College has confirmed a tornado touched in Harrisburg and traveled through the neighboring townships during Tropical Storm Debby on Friday, Aug. 9. The EF1 had estimated peak winds of 105 miles, it was 300 yards at its widest, and was on the ground for about 3 1/2 miles, according to the NWS release. Two children found unresponsive in a pool have prompted a criminal investigation, according to a police release on Thursday, Aug. 1. The children were found in the pool at the Whisper Woods apartment complex in the 360 block of Brookridge Terrace in Susquehanna Township around 5:30 p.m. on July 31 EMS were called to the scene providing life-saving aid to the children until they were taken to the hospital. The public has been asked to help locate a girl who was last seen near Union Deposit Road and Progress Avenue in the Harrisburg Area, the Susquehanna Township Police announced on Wednesday, June 26. Keilani Terry was last seen leaving the 400 block of Redwood Street in Susquehanna Township on Monday, June 24, according to the police release. She is between 13 and 17 years old, has braids in her hair (as pictured), and is 5'2" tall, police explained. The results of the autopsy for a high school senior, who was shot dead by a 13-year-old boy, were released by the Dauphin County Coroner on Friday, June 7.
