Two Crashes Cause Delays On I-83 In South Central PA Traffic delays plagued Interstate 83 in York County after two crashes in the northbound lanes on Wednesday morning, Nov. 20. The first crash occurred around 7:35 a.m., just 0.1 miles north of Exit 34 for Valley Green, according to PennDOT. Crews quickly cleared the scene, and all lanes reopened shortly after. The second crash, involving multiple vehicles, happened near Exit 32 for Route 382/Newberrytown around 7:50 a.m., Newberry Township officials confirmed. Tractor-Trailer Crash Causes Lane Restrictions On I-83: PennDOT A tractor-trailer crash has led to a lane restriction on Interstate 83 in Harrisburg, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.  The crash happened on I-83 South at Exit 50: US 22 West - Progress around 2:38 p.m., according to PennDOT's 511PA.  The lane restriction was put in place for crews clearing the scene.  No injuries had been reported at the time of publishing.  Check back here for possible updates.

Texas Longhorn Bull Loose On I-83: PennDOT A bull was "running amok" on Interstate 83, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler announced on Wednesday afternoon.  The Texas Longhorn bull got loose near Exit 36 to Fishing Creek, according to Schreffler.  The bull was "quick and [had] been evading capture on the ramps, in the gore area, and on the other side by the car wash," Schreffler explained.  There was traffic disruption, not a closure as of 3:20 p.m. on July 10.  There was no word on how long it would take to wrangle the bull, but around 4:15 p.m. some men with lassos caught…

Dauphin County Man Killed In York Motorcycle Crash: Troopers Authorities have named the 21-year-old motorcyclist killed in a Fairview Township crash on Sunday, May 19.  Issaiha Seiders was headed north in the left lane of Interstate 83 when he merged right into the center lane, state police said in a release.  As he began to pass a Ford Fusion in the left lane, the Ford merged right, striking Seiders' motorcycle and knocking onto the right shoulder, according to troopers.  Seiders, of Halifax, was pronounced dead at the scene and a passenger on his motorcycle was flown to Hershey Medical Center with serious injuries.
