A mother is mourning the loss of her daughter and young mother killed in a car crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike on Monday, Sept. 16, according to a GoFundMe launched by her family. Brianna Quinn, 21, of Palmerton died in the crash, her family says. A former firefighter in multiple counties in Pennsylvania and a Vietnam veteran died on Wednesday, Sept. 11, his former station announced. Blaine W. Horn, 75, of Slatedale, passed away at his home, according to his obituary posted on Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc.'s website. An Amish man with a total of 92 children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was struck dead when his horse and buggy were struck by a BMW SUV, authorities told Daily Voice on Tuesday, Aug. 27. A Hanover man has died 20 days after he was injured in a crash involving a tractor-trailer, the York County Coroner announced on Friday, Aug. 23. Zachary "Zach" Jacob Orendorff, 41, died from a "Subdural and Subarachnoid Hemorrhage" due to the crash, Coroner Pam Gay wrote in the release.
