Man Shot Dead Outside Philly High School, $20K Reward Offered
An unidentified man in his 20s was shot dead outside a high school in East Germantown Village, Philadelphia police announced on Monday, Sept. 23. The man was shot once in the chest while in the roadway at 5900 Stenton Avenue, outside of Martin Luther King High School, according to the police. He was pronounced dead by Medic 33 at 11:46 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22. The crime scene was held for further investigation, with no arrests made and no weapons recovered. Two men have been arrested after a teenager was shot during an argument among seven males in Philadelphia on Friday, Sept. 20, authorities said. The suspects' names had not been released by Philadelphia police at press time. A 13-year-old girl was shot and killed Wednesday, Sept. 18 in Philadelphia, authorities said. The black female was found on the 2800 block of N Bailey Street having suffered a gunshot wound to the right side of her chest just after 7:35 p.m., police said. Authorities have identified the couple shot dead in a murder-suicide in Allentown, the Lehigh County Coroner announced on Friday, Sept. 6. Livi E.
