: Couple Shot Dead In Allentown, Lehigh County Coroner Says
A murder-suicide is under investigation in Allentown, the Lehigh County Coroner announced on Thursday, Sept. 5. A 44-year-old woman from Allentown was found dead of a shooting at about 1:10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5, in a home on the 2000 block of East Cedar St., according to the Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio. A double shooting has left a 25-year-old man dead and a 1-year-old boy injured, Philadelphia police announced late on Wednesday night, Sept. 4. Police were called to the shooting in the 3200 block of D Street, in the 25th District, at 6:21 p.m., PPD detailed in the release. The woman found dead following an assault at a husband and wife's apartment has been identified, by the Dauphin County Coroner on Sunday, Sept. 1. Allie McFadden, 26, of York County, was killed in Kyle and Chanise Burton's apartment in the 100 block of Pine Street at 11 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29. A 36-year-old driver from Montgomery County was killed in a crash in Bucks County, authorities said. Robert Strohm, of Harleysville, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at about 6:30 p.m., according to Hilltown police. Pottstown Man, 60, Dies From Burns Suffered In House Fire: Coroner
A 60-year-old man from Pottstown died of burns suffered in a house fire, authorities said. John Roddenberry was pronounced dead on Sunday, Aug. 18, at about 3:20 p.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, according to the Lehigh County Coroner. The cause of death was burns over more than 50 percent of his body, the coroner said. The fire occurred on Sunday, Aug. 18 at approximately 1:30 a.m. in the 15 Block of W. 3rd Street, Pottstown.
