St. Joe's Student Critical After Pedestrian Crash: Reports A St. Joseph's University student was listed in critical condition after a pedestrian crash on Monday night, Sept. 23, according to multiple news reports. A motorist struck the unidentified student along City Avenue shortly before 8 p.m., Lower Merion Township police and the university told NBC Philadelphia. Pedestrian Hospitalized After Crash In Bucks County A pedestrian was hospitalized with multiple injuries after a crash in Bucks County, authorities said. Perkasie Borough Police are investigating the crash that occurred at about 7:15 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5 at Callowhill Road and Dorchester Lane. A 70-year-old pedestrian was crossing in the crosswalk at Callowhill Road and was struck by a Volkswagen Jetta traveling eastbound on Callowhill Road, police said. Pedestrian Struck, Killed In South Philadelphia: Police A 59-year-old woman was struck and killed by a vehicle late Wednesday, Aug. 7, authorities said. At 11:52 p.m., Philadelphia Police responded to an accident with injuries on the 5800 block of Broad Street in South Philadelphia East. A Subaru Ascent was traveling northbound on Broad Street when it struck a pedestrian who was attempting to cross the street, police said. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Her name had not been released as of press time.
