Road Closure Alert: Almshouse Road Shut Down Due To Fallen Tree On Power Lines
Almshouse Road is closed between Birdie Lane and Valley Road after a large tree was found leaning on power wires, officials announced early Friday, Nov. 22, 2024. The Doylestown Township Police Department issued the closure notice at 5:54 a.m., stating that crews were en route to handle the situation. Fallen Tree Pulls Powerlines Down Closing Road In Doylestown: Police
A roadway is closed to all traffic due to a downed tree involving multiple power lines, Doylestown police said. Pebble Hill Road is blocked to all traffic at its intersection with Turk Road at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14, according to the Doylestown Township Police Department. Police suggest drivers find an alternate route. Approximately 108 PECO customers and 218 PPL Customers are without power in Bucks County, no estimates for when the power would come back on were available.
