A popular Pennsylvania podcaster was charged with stealing more than $2,000 from a non-profit organization, according to court documents obtained by Daily Voice on Tuesday, Sept. 24. William "Bill" Thomas Corcoran Jr., 35, of Mountain Top, Luzerne County, founder and host of “On the Stacks” podcast, has been charged with one count of theft by unlawful taking, according to police and court records. Kutztown University Professor Found Frozen To Death On One Of Turkey's Tallest Mountains
An associate business professor at Kutztown University has died after he and another man's bodies were found frozen on one of the tallest mountains in Turkey last weekend, according to university administrators and local news reports. Dr. M. Halim Dalgin a 58-year-old Adana, a Turkey native living in Mountain Top, Luzerne County, had been climbing a mountain near the country's southeastern border with Iran, multiple outlets report. HS Band Director Convicted Of Sexually Assaulting Student: Pennsylvania AG
A former school employee in Wilkes Barre was convicted of groping a student on Friday, June 28, said the state Attorney General's Office in a release. Theron Roberts, the 41-year-old ex-band director at Crestwood High School in Mountain Top, was found guilty of felony institutional sexual assault and corruption of minors, prosecutors said.
