Mile-Long Hydraulic Oil Spill Shuts Down Route 30 In Pennsylvania
A nearly mile-long hydraulic oil spill from a large piece of farm equipment has shut down part of Route 30, according to PennDOT. The spill was reported on Route 30 west near Roosevelt Avenue in York County, at 9:16 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 7, PennDOT Safety Press Officer Fritzi Schreffler told Daily Voice. The farm equipment had apparently been leaking hydraulic oil for nearly a mile as other vehicles drove through the spill, Schreffler said. Allegiant Air is adding first-class seats to some of its planes as the budget carrier expands its premium offerings. A person was rushed to a hospital after being struck by lightning at a Pennsylvania apartment complex on Thursday evening, Aug. 6, officials said. The lightning strike was reported at the Roseville House Apartments on Eden Road in Manheim Township just after 6:30 p.m., according to Lancaster County dispatch.
