Patrol Car Rear-Ends SEPTA BUS: PA State Police A police patrol car rear-ended a Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority bus, Pennsylvania State Police announced in a release on Wednesday, Oct. 2. The crash happened on East Ridge Road before the intersection with Cosgrove Street in Trainer Borough at 11:32 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5, PA State Police detailed in the release.  The SEPTA bus was westbound and a Trainer Borough police Ford Interceptor, driven by Officer Jason Donnelly, was following behind, according to PSP Media Trooper Ryan Wolk. Robbers Forced Victim To Stay On SEPTA Train, Police Say (Video) Video from a SEPTA train shows multiple suspects stop a woman from fleeing before stealing her phone, Philadelphia police say.  Authorities said it happened on the "El" train in West Philadelphia around noon on May 28.  The suspects confronted the victim then prevented her from getting off the train when it stopped, according to police. Bus Hits Pedestrian In North Philadelphia: SEPTA One person was hospitalized after being struck by a bus in Philadelphia's Hunting Park on Monday night, May 27.  SEPTA said it happened near the corner of 13th Street and Erie Avenue around 9 p.m. The pedestrian was hit by the left side mirror of a Route 56 bus, according to transit officials.  "The pedestrian was taken to the hospital in critical condition, however, the injuries are reported to be non-life threatening," a spokesperson said.  No one on the bus was injured, they added.
