Driver, 2 Passengers Killed In US Route 1 Crash: Delaware County Officials (Updated) Three people were killed in a two-vehicle crash on US Route 1 outside Media on Tuesday morning, according to officials.  The crash happened on US Rt 1 South near the ramp to Route 252 (Providence Road) around 8 a.m. on July 2, authorities say. The driver of a transit van and two passengers have died, said the Delaware County District Attorney's Office. Their identities were not given. Shot Woman Drives Into Building, Upland Police Say Upland police responded to a crash on Sunday night, June 23 to find the driver had been shot, officials say.  It happened on the 300 block of Third Street around 11 p.m., according to borough police. The driver crashed into a building and was found to have multiple gunshot wounds when medics removed her from the vehicle. Investigators said the shooting appears to have been targeted and "not a random act." Delco Thieves Made Off With Over $14K In Sunglasses, Troopers Say State police in Delaware County are looking for two people in connection with a May 5 retail theft.  The robbers stole about $14,300 in sunglasses from the LensCrafters at 539 Wilmington West Chester Pike in Glen Mills, troopers said in a release.
