Pedestrian Killed By Kia Crash In Philadelphia: Police A pedestrian was struck and killed by a Kia Optima on Aramingo Avenue, Philadelphia police announced on Friday, Dec. 27. The crash happened around 6:56 a.m. at the intersection of Huntingdon Street and Aramingo Avenue in the 26th District, police said. A man believed to be about 35 years old was hit by a southbound Kia Optima. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Philadelphia Fire Department medics at 7:11 a.m., according to authorities. Thieves Remove ATM From Fishtown Gas Station: Philadelphia PD Detectives are looking for two men who stole an ATM from outside a Philadelphia gas station on Thursday morning, June 6.  Police said it happened at a Karko on the 2300 block of Aramingo Avenue just before 4 a.m. The suspects backed a white Ford truck up to the storefront, loaded up the ATM, then fled south on Aramingo, authorities said.  Anyone with information is asked to call East Detectives at 215-686-3243.
