Mirvan Dinler, 26, of Trappe, picked the victim up at a Philadelphia nightclub in an UberX and drove her back to her dorm in Hovnanian Hall at the Radnor Township campus on Friday, Sept. 13, police paperwork reads.

Dinler then followed the student back to her dorm and raped her then forced her to perform oral sex on him, the paperwork says. The victim told authorities that the last thing she remembered was waking up to find Dinler on top of her, and she was completely naked, police papers say.

The student told police she had five drinks and did not have dinner that evening.

Dinler returned a short time after the rape happened and began pounding on the door to her room, the paperwork says. A resident assistant, or RA, noticed who was nearby noticed him and asked him what he was doing.

He told the RA that he wanted to collect a fee from the student, who he claimed left a mess in his vehicle, according to the police paperwork. The RA helped Dinler make contact with the student through the door.

She cracked her door open far enough to hand her cell phone to Dinler, who made a Venmo transaction of $150 to a "Siyamend Ilhan" before leaving, the police paperwork says. The next morning, the student noticed that a "Siyamend Ilhan" was following her on Instagram.

Dinler has been charged with rape, sexual assault, and indecent assault in the incident. He is currently being held on $250,000 bail.

"Sexual assault is a devastating crime that has no place in our society," a spokesperson from Uber said in a statement to Daily Voice. "We are appalled by what’s been described, and banned the driver as soon as this was reported to us. We will assist law enforcement however we can."
