An intruder alarm at a Delaware County school triggered a lockdown and large police response in Broomall, authorities said. Officers were dispatched to the Delaware County Intermediate Unit (DCIU) at 85 N. Malin Road at 2:16 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, after an alarm was activated, according to Marple Township Police. The alarm was triggered when a current staff member saw a former staff member inside the building who was not permitted to be there, police said.
