Norristown Police Chief Resigns Effective Immediately Jacqueline Bailey-Davis has resigned as the Municipality of Norristown Chief of Police, effective immediately, officials announced Tuesday, Dec. 17. Bailey-Davis, who took office on Jan. 2, 2024, had been placed on administrative leave on Nov. 25.
