A police officer was involved in a crash due to a deer in the road in Bucks County on Thursday, Nov. 14, according to police. The officer was driving on Galloway Road when a deer ran onto the roadway, causing a driver in another vehicle in front of the patrol car to stop abruptly, the Bensalem Police Department said in a news release. A New Jersey man was convicted for arranging the 2022 arson of a Bensalem warehouse on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024, according to police. Ramiz Duka, 61, of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, was convicted in federal court for conspiring to set fire to a warehouse located at 1388 Bridgewater Road in Bensalem on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022, the Bensalem Police Department said. Duka recruited two men to set fire to the warehouse, paying them $15,000 to do so, according to police. An "AK-style" rifle, ammunition, and drugs were seized during a traffic stop in Bucks County on Saturday, Oct. 26, according to police. Victor Miles, 33, of Flourtown, was observed driving a dark-colored Mazda south on Hulmeville Road near Byberry Road, the Bensalem Police Department said on Tuesday, Oct. 29.
