A community is rallying for a family after a 10-year-old girl was hospitalized with two brain bleeds after her dad's motorcycle was struck by a hit-and-run driver. Three family members — including two firefighters — are in the hospital after a car crashed into their York County home on Sunday morning, Oct. 20, fire officials announced. Within three minutes after the car slammed into the home in the 6700 block of York Road in Heidelberg Township at 2:21 a.m., emergency crews were on the scene, according to the Porter Fire Company. Perez, 26, of Wilson Borough, was driving in the 5000 block of Route 309 in Heidelberg Township when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree at 3:38 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. Motorist, 56, Killed In 2-Car Crash In Berks County: Coroner
A 56-year-old man from Schuylkill County was killed in a two-car crash in Berks County, authorities said. Brian T. Strubhar of Pine Grove Township died in the crash at about 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 6890 Penn Ave. in Heidelberg Township, according to Berks County Chief Deputy Coroner George Holmes.
