Parks Employee Struck Dead Near Fort Hunter: PennDOT
A Dauphin County parks employee was fatally struck near Fort Hunter on Wednesday morning, Dec. 27, according to PennDOT spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler. Emergency responders reported cardiac arrest at the scene, but it remains unclear whether this caused the crash or was suffered by the pedestrian. The road was closed for several hours for investigation but reopened by noon, Schreffler said. No additional details were immediately available.
