The investigation into a wrong-way crash that injured six people on Route 15 has entered its final stages, with the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office now reviewing evidence for possible charges, Upper Allen Township Police announced in an update on Wednesday, March 12.

The January 17 crash began in Lower Allen Township when the 29-year-old suspect driver struck a 2011 Nissan Rogue occupied by a 37-year-old driver and two young children (ages 4 and 2) during an altercation at the Capital City Car Wash, police previously said.

The driver then entered Route 15 southbound in the northbound lanes, sideswiping a 2020 Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 17-year-old before colliding with several other vehicles near mile marker 37 in Upper Allen Township.
