An elite Pennsylvania boarding school allowed a basketball coach’s 12-year-old son to repeatedly sexually abuse a faculty member’s 7-year-old child due to failed safety measures and administrative negligence, a newly filed lawsuit claims.
The lawsuit, filed Monday, Dec. 16, in Montgomery County Court, names the and its Head of School, Mark Devey, as defendants. It alleges the school ignored glaring security hazards and failed to act on numerous reports of faulty doors, locks, and cameras—conditions that enabled the abuse.

A 21-year-old former three-sport varsity athlete from South Hagerstown High School was killed when his car rear-ended a tractor-trailer on Interstate 81 in Antrim Township, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Monday, Dec. 16.
Dru N. Feeley, of Hagerstown, died at the scene of the crash, which occurred around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, near mile marker 6.9, troopers said.
He was driving a 2005 Dodge Neon at a high speed in the left lane of I-81 North when he struck the rear of a 2021 Peterbilt 579 tractor-trailer, investigators said.

Missing Endangered Man Found Dead In Delaware: PA State Police
An 86-year-old man reported missing from Glen Mills, Delaware County, last week has been found dead in Wilmington, Delaware, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Monday, Dec. 16.
Vito D’Amore, of Concord Township, was located alongside his black 2017 Ford Edge on an access road near I-495 Southbound, just prior to the Christina River Bridge, state police said.
Delaware State Police discovered D’Amore at approximately 10:10 a.m. on Monday and contacted the Pennsylvania State Police Media station to report their findings, authorities detailed.
