Amish Cheese Factory Catches Fire In PA (Developing) An Amish-owned cheese factory in Lancaster County caught fire on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 13, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications. Emergency crews were called to the scene at Oak Shade Cheese factory in Kirkwood, Little Britain Township around 3 p.m., dispatchers at LCWC detailed. Although smoke with the only thing reported, more than 20 fire crews responded to the scene.
