76ers, Flyers To Build New Arena In South Philly, Ending Plans For $1.3B Downtown Move
After years of debating, two of Philadelphia's major sports teams will have a new arena not too far from their current home. The new arena for the Philadelphia 76ers and Flyers will be in the South Philadelphia Sports Complex, which is also where they currently play in the Wells Fargo Center. Macy’s Closing 4 PA Locations Including Wanamaker Center City Philly Store
Macy’s, Inc. confirmed Thursday, Jan. 9, that its Center City Philadelphia store in the historic Wanamaker building will close, along with three other Pennsylvania locations, as part of the company's nationwide "Bold New Chapter" strategy.
