A Bristol Township man was convicted of raping a girl multiple times during a period spanning more than two years, authorities said. Carlos Navedo, 52, was convicted on multiple counts of Child Rape and related charges on Wednesday, Oct. 30, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office. Investigators found that Navedo raped the girl several times between January 2021 and December 2023, the district attorney's office said. A 26-year-old motorcyclist from Mount Pocono was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Monroe County, authorities said. The fatal crash occurred at about 11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16 on State Route 611 at Cayuga Drive in Coolbaugh Township.
