A 50-year-old sex offender and felon — with convictions in five counties — has died in the Pennsylvania State Correctional Institution in Camp Hill, Superintendent Michael Gourley announced on Wednesday, July 3. A VFW employee "stole over $2,000 in cash and a bottle of unopened whiskey" from her place of work, the Mount Joy Borough of Police announced on Thursday, June 27. A 55-year-old woman wanted out of Maryland for felony theft and malicious property destruction was has been arrested in Pennsylvania. Quarryville, PA police got a tip on June 6 that Lisa Marie Phillips was on the 100 block of Groffdale Drive in Oak Bottom Village, the office said. Millions of dollars worth of stolen construction tools have been recovered by members of the Howard County Police Department in what was described as "one of the largest and most expansive theft cases in the region in recent years," authorities announced.
