A 4-year-old girl known for her love of life, learning, and chocolate ice cream with sprinkles has been identified as the victim of a devastating crash in Harrisburg earlier this month, authorities confirmed to Daily Voice on Friday, Nov. 29. Brynley “Bryn” Eliza Kropnick, of East Lampeter Township, was fatally injured in a vehicle accident at the U.S. Route 22/322 interchange with Interstate 81 on Friday, Nov. 8, around 6:15 p.m., according to the Dauphin County Coroner's Office. Teen Bicyclist Struck Dead, PA State Police Say
A 19-year-old bicyclist from Susquehanna was struck and killed at a stop sign, authorities said. Hannah E. Shaffer died at about 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1 on East Main Street west of Spring Avenue in Susquehanna Depot, according to Pennsylvania State Police. The driver of the car, Todd M. Caward, 45, of Starlight was not injured or ticketed, police said. It appears that Shaffer drove through the stop sign before getting hit by the car, police said. A former Ironman Maryland All-Around winner and popular Pennsylvania high school teacher was killed in a bicycle crash in York County, friends and officials announced on Monday, July 29. Joseph "Joe" Klinedinst, 48 of York, died at the scene of a crash at the intersection of Mt Pisgah and Ducktown roads in Hellam Township at 11:55 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, according to the coroner's release and later identified by family friends and a county commissioner. A 39-year-old father of three has died following a motorcycle crash where he drove the wrong way down a street, Lebanon City Police announced on Monday, July 15. A 25-year-old Biglerville mom was killed and her infant daughter was medevaced following a two-vehicle crash on Memorial Day, Pennsylvania State Police in Adams County announced on Thursday, May 30.
